Last night Chuck took me to see Nim's Island at the Frontier Cinema. It's a Disney Fantasy, Adventure film about a girl and her scientist father who live in an island in the South Pacific. He wrecks his sail boat in a storm and she finds company through the e-mail with her favorite author. Yes, there is e-mail on the island because of electricity generated by solar panels and they have a satellite dish too. I did mention that this is Disney Fantasy, right.
Regardless, it's entertaining, suspenseful, full of adventure & excitement; there are intelligent animals & creatures with human attributes which Disney is famous for through out the movie. Yet it's a lot of fun, your family will enjoy this movie.

Thanks for the review. I value your good taste. I am looking forward to seeing "Prince Caspian." I loved reading all the Narnia books. As I recall, you were really into The Lord of the rings etc?
