This evening when I saw mama fly from the nest I peeked to see the progress. There were three little hungry birds and still one egg not hatched. Though the pictures show two birds one kept behind the others. My Clematis is starting to grow so I[m anxious for the little guys to leave the nest so I can cut it back.

They're a lot bigger than the last picture. Hopefully it'll be just a couple of weeks and you can tackle your clematis.
This morning Chuck checked the nest and it was empty. The last two nights we've had incredible wind storms and freezing temperatures. We don't know what happened to our little birds, we can only guess.
Bottom line, the Clematis is cut back.
