Three Hours of Nursery!

Yesterday Chuck spoke in Church, he did a great job like he always does. As we walked into the chapel he sat up front and as I walked pass the Thompson family Kara, who's in our nursery said my name and got all excited. I said something about sitting by her to her mom and Kara slid over and patted the seat next to her. So I sat with the Thompsons. BTW, I took this before church started.
Kara spent most of the time on my lap, she is very well behaved, during church. We were on the end of the isle and were close to Jason Brinkerhoff & Erik Putterbaugh who are all in our nursery class.
Jason kept telling his mom, "Look! Cuff!" while pointing to Chuck on the stand then he would say it again while turning back to point at me. I got out my breath mints form my purse and that was all it took for Jason to leave his mom and come and sit on my other lap, so for half of the meeting I had two nursery kids with me. I tried to fit three on my lap but it just wasn't working so Kara hopped down and I had the two boys with me for quite a while. Erik just looked on, he is new to the nursery and not willing to leave his mama yet, however he knew who I was.
Then Chuck got up to speak and Jason and Kara both started saying, "Chuck! Chuck!" over and over, I had to keep shushing them. Kara does not have a whisper voice, it's pretty funny.
That was sacrament meeting, it was over fast and off to nursery for two hours. When we got home we both fell asleep because we were so tired and sore from Saturday & three hours of nursery.

Sounds like a way to get through any possibly boring talks, having the little ones to entertain. That was a cute story...right up my alley! I am teaching primary this coming Sunday....I taught this group before, they were a blast, 10year olds!
