Spring here and it brought massive weeds to our yard. I was in the back yard spraying today and as I finished up and walked to the patio to clean up my equipment I spooked a bird who was in my dead Clematis vines. When I looked where she came from I saw this. I have never seen such a new little baby bird and I wanted to share it so I ran into the house, grabbed my camera and took this picture. It looks like my baby chicks that are coming on Tuesday will have some company!

I agree with Dana...every time I see you I'm just going to call you "Bird Lady".
It's amazing the things you can find in your backyard when you live in such a rural area...LA Girl wouldn't know what to think! :) Of course, she'd probably expect us to fry the eggs for dinner, living in the wilderness like we do.
